Auckland GWN – Te Aka Wahine o Tāmaki is delighted to host Anne Elder-Knight for this highly interactive workshop helping smart women figure out how the things we tell ourselves and others can get in the way of us realising our career potential.

Ever been told you’re your own worst enemy? Ever told yourself that? Sadly, it’s true at some point for all of us. We place labels on ourselves or accept those others give us, attribute unhelpful meanings to events and then live out the stories we’ve created.

In particular this workshop explores how to:

  • Avoid the perils of feedback and what to do to make the most of it
  • Unpick the labels that help us and those that hold us back
  • Choose the lessons we learn and understand what happens when we don’t
  • Create and share our own legends and those of others that support us in living up to our potential

Designed to be engaging, thought-provoking and fun with plenty of opportunities for reflection and discussion. The workshop delivers a deeper awareness of ourselves and what this means for shaping your career path.

About Anne Elder-Knight

Unlocking untapped leadership talent has been the through-line in Anne’s career. From her early days in equal opportunities, to designing and facilitating leadership development, and major culture change programmes, to coaching and mentoring senior leaders and their teams, she has been fascinated by what it takes to be our individual and collective best.

Drawing on this experience Anne now designs and leads programmes that enable leaders to successfully bring out the best in themselves and future generations of leaders.
