Fiona Ross has accepted the appointment as Director of the Family Violence and Sexual Violence Joint Venture. She begins her role on 29 April and as Director will lead the work programme for the joint venture alongside the Lead Minister for Family Violence and Sexual Violence, Jan Logie, Under-Secretary to the Minister of Justice.

The Joint Venture’s role is to drive enduring change and commitment to addressing family and sexual violence and, with the support of chief executives across the public sector, improve outcomes for victims, perpetrators, whānau and families.

Ms Ross is currently Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Secretary Strategy, Performance and Engagement at Treasury.
