Award winning Women’s Network at Ministry of Justice
Congratulations to the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Women’s Network (Network) on winning the 2018 New Zealand Diversity Awards, under the Empowerment category.
The award recognises the efforts taken to empower women, and allies of the network, to participate in the network’s activities regardless of role, education, age, ethnicity, or location and to support people in their professional development. MOJ has used the audio-visual technology that is available to achieve this. Importantly, the regional staff have embraced the opportunity to connect with each other and to join in in events. At times, there are staff from multiple offices participating in events concurrently from Kaikohe to Invercargill.
