GWN Announces New Chair, Co-Chair and Steering Committee for 2026 GWN is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chair, Co-Chair and Steering Committee, marking an important leadership transition for the network.


National GWN are welcoming submissions for Chair and Member positions to start in December 2025 for a two-year term

We invite Expression of Interest to join the GWN Steering committee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a maturing national connector network that uplifts wāhine and women networks across the public sector.

Our Māori name

GWN’s Māori name means ‘the vine that connects the women of Aotearoa’. The name was developed with cultural guidance from Te Rarawa Rangatira Bobby Newson and David Radovanovich from New Zealand Customs Service.
