Auckland GWN hosted Dr Michelle Dickinson (also known as Nanogirl) for a breakfast meeting at the Ellen Melville Centre on International Women’s Day.

Dr Dickinson shared her story about her engineering and nano technology career and encouraged women to be confident, take risks to reach their potential, do a job that really interests them, work to their strengths, quiet the inner voice (to tackle the ‘imposter syndrome’), and seek wise counsel from trusted friends or mentors to give an encouraging push forward.

If you missed Dr Dickinson's engaging talk you can view it here (video size is 5.1 GB).
