New Zealand's public sector achievements for gender parity in senior leadership have been highlighted in a Women Leaders Index report by London-based Global Government Forum.

The report takes stock of progress for governments around the world, noting how countries perform on women's representation in leadership positions. New Zealand was especially noted for being only .4 points off gender parity in the top three tiers of leadership.

GWN's Sponsor, Naomi Ferguson and State Services Commissioner, Peter Hughes were interviewed for the report and were asked about their insights on New Zealand's success to date. You can read more about their discussion in the Global Government Forum case study.
