IPANZ has appointed Shenagh Gleisner as their new Executive Director, effective 4 June, 2019.

Shenagh has held a range of senior management and executive positions in the public, private and community sector, including State Services Commission, Ministry for Women and Child, Youth and Families. She brings "a deep passion for excellence in public services and public policy."

IPANZ is an organisation that offers seminars, training and networking to promote improvements in public sector policy and administration. They provide opportunities for members to learn, debate new ideas, and celebrate excellence.

Shenagh will be responsible for the execution of IPANZ's strategic direction, including greater focus on membership services, thought leadership, and engagement, ensuring key issues for members of the public sector can be addressed.

Shenagh holds Master of Science and Master of Public Policy degrees, is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management, a member of the Institute of Directors and an Honorary Fellow in the School of Government at Victoria University in Wellington.
