The Ministry of Health Women’s Network is delighted to host Hon Jan Tinetti for a talk about her personal journey in leadership and her key priorities as Minister for Women.
Minister Tinetti has a background in education and is a fierce advocate for equal educational opportunities. During her 20 years as a primary school principal, she campaigned for struggling families in her community to be able to access everything they needed to thrive. Her entry into politics stemmed from her belief that the Government has a role to play in ensuring all New Zealanders have access to the services they need to help them to be the best they can be.
Based in Tauranga, Minister Tinetti has been a list MP since 2017, and is also Minister of Internal Affairs and Associate Minister of Education.
