Karen Mora, Committee Co-chair
Karen Mora is a Southern Region Development Advisor at the Department of Corrections Ara Poutama, based in Christchurch. With 16 years of experience within this sector she has also collaborated with other government agencies to support public safety.
Embracing a growth mindset, Karen's focused on facilitating training and uplifting capability while also enhancing her own expertise in Adult Education. Her commitment extends beyond her substantive roles being an active member of committees like the Canterbury Prisons Women's Network and SGWN.
Eager to tackle the unique challenges faced by women, Karen is looking forward to Co-Chairing SGWN during 2024-2025, fostering resilience, unity, and support across the agencies we serve.
